Welcome to the Weaver’s Newsletter<\/strong> Sep\/Oct 2025!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entire Weaver’s Newsletter<\/strong> staff (okay, that’s just Jan and myself) just returned from the 36th Annual Mayberry Days in Mount Airy, N.C. and it was an amazing event, as always. We had a wonderful time meeting with old and meeting new friends who all love The Andy Griffith Show<\/em>. There was a very large number of first time attendees to Mayberry Days this year showing the continuing growth in the Mayberry fanbase. Many of the first timers mentioned they learned about the existence of Mayberry Days by watching the Mayberry Man<\/em> movie\/series and\/or The Mayberry Effect<\/em> documentary. It is so good to see people consuming these new options and them drawing fans to the original. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’ll give more details about Mayberry Days later in the Newsletter but we need to mention that this is a “five” year. By that I mean October 3, 2025 marks the 65th anniversary of the original air date of The Andy Griffith Show<\/em>. Can you remember, or imagine, watching Andy and Opie walking down that path for the very first time and not knowing that 65 years later thousands of people would be attending events yearly to celebrate, like Ed Sawyer, their “hometown.” Not to mention the millions of viewers who continue to tune in and watch our friends who live in Mayberry. Fans can literally watch The Andy Griffith Show<\/em> streaming to their TVs, tablets, computers, or phones anytime they choose to watch. Pluto.tv streaming even has an entire channel dedicated to The Andy Griffith Show<\/em> that is free to watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Believe it or not, the Christmas season is just around the corner. You’ll want to browse around WeaversDepartmentStore.com and get your gifts heading your way to be sure things arrive on time. 2026 Mayberry Wall Calendar<\/strong> <\/a>– $17<\/p>\n\n\n

Weaver’s is very happy to bring fans the  Mayberry calendar for 2026!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have been wall calendars for The Andy Griffith Show<\/em><\/strong> for many years and all of us have enjoyed them. Sadly, the licensee who made those calendars decided to stop making them after 2024. Thankfully for fans, Mr. Weaver wanted to ensure the yearly fun continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weaver’s reached out to artist Christina Green and asked if she might be able to create artwork related to our hometown and the result is a sight to behold. Last year, our calendar sold out!  Fans loved the beautiful Mayberry scenes Christina created. She’s done it again for our 2026 calendar. The monthly calendar images are ALL NEW<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plan your year in Mayberry! Start each month features a different scene from our home town done in a watercolor art style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each month fills a full two page opening with an image at the top and calendar page on the bottom. Jot down plans and notes. Each month points out cast & crew member birthdays, special occasions and events. The cover features sights around Mayberry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
