There were will be a variety of talks, presentations, performances, and screenings, plus lots of time for visiting with the special guests and fellow fans–all with the intimate setting and delicious food offered by the Sauder Heritage Inn. * May 30: <\/strong>Andy\u2019s 100th<\/sup> Birthday Bash: Bluegrass, Comedy, and Mayberry Memories<\/strong><\/em> at the Royal Theatre in Macon, Mo. This matinee event, hosted by the Blood Brothers<\/strong> chapter of TAGS<\/em>RWC, features special musical guests Keota <\/strong>and the Andy Family Band<\/strong>. A presentation on Andy Griffith’s career and life by Mayberry author Randy Turner<\/strong>, an interview with Dixie Griffith <\/strong>(Andy’s daughter), and some clean, family comedy by comedian and actor Rik Roberts<\/strong>. Door prize drawings (don’t pull out the hat size) and refreshments will be part of the event as well. * June 12-14: Mayberry Comes to Scottsburg<\/strong> returns to Scottsburg, Ind., after a year’s hiatus. (NOTE:<\/strong> dates for this event have moved by a week, so make adjustments to your schedule<\/em>.) This will be the third time Mayberry comes to town, and the organizers are planning to have Mayberry music, presentations, tribute artists, and more. Special Guests confirmed so far include Rodney Dillard <\/strong>(the guitar-playing Darling boy) and Joy Ellison <\/strong>(Mary Wiggins, aka Miss Mayberry Junior, and others), both of whom will be featured in spotlight presentations. The festival will be celebrating Andy Griffith’s 100th birthday, so come on out and act like somebody.
