June Bride DVD

June Bride was a 1948 movie staring Betty Davis, Robert Montgomery, and a young Betty "Thelma Lou" Lynn in the title role. The Two Chairs No Waiting Podcast episode 393 featured Betty and her amazing memories of June Bride and the stars with which she worked.

Foreign correspondent Carey Jackson is offered a job on Home Life, a "women's" magazine and he accepts when he finds the editor is none other than his old flame Linda Gilman. Verbal pyrotechnics fly between Carey and Linda as they go to Indiana to cover the Brinker family's "typical American wedding."
